Jim Eakin for City Council
Experience – Integrity – Leadership
Hi residents of District 1 in Big Bear Lake! I am running again to be your City Council representative.
Yes, I’m a little late getting the word out. I got caught by the “DMV fiasco” in the City’s residency ordinance. The ordinance requires that the physical address be listed on a DMV registration; however, the DMV policy is to only print the mailing address if different from the physical address.
Not to be deterred, I’m forging ahead with being a write-in candidate. I’m asking you to fill in my name on the ballot when you vote for me.
Here’s my candidate statement:
As your City Council representative, I will bring fiscal responsibility and transparency to our City government.
